Food Sovereignty GSESD

Neighborhood Growers Network

STRENGTHENING OUR NEIGHBORHOOD FOOD SUPPLY

We’re looking for community members with a passion for gardening and food growing to join us in creating a large collective of food growers locally who could eventually contribute produce to our People’s Produce Mobile Farmers Market. We want to create health and wellness throughout San Diego using urban agriculture as a means to combat food insecure neighborhoods. This is good for the environment, good for our health and well-being, and helps to build strong community connections. All levels of gardeners and growers welcome – we’re here to provide support and connect people with resources to create a strong neighborhood collective.

The PNV Neighborhood Growers Collective meets every second Saturday of the month from 9-10:30am at the Mt. Hope Community Garden, 4269 Market St., San Diego, CA 92102.

Sound like something you’re interested in? Then join us, and let’s grow as a community!
