Spring Solidarity Mixer March 31st

A Garden Friend-Raiser Event Celebrating Activism, Farm Worker’s Rights, and Community!

On Tuesday, March 31st – birthday of César Chávez – we’re hosting our Spring Solidarity Mixer, celebrating urban agriculture, farm workers, and the labor leaders who paved the way for farm worker’s rights in California. We pay tribute to the leadership of the United Farm Workers and the Agricultural workers Association (AWA), and celebrate the legacy of early labor leaders César Chávez, Dolores Huerta, Larry Itliong, Phillip Vera Cruz, Gilbert Padilla, and Mack Lyons.

This ticketed event will feature delicious food, specialty cocktails and beverages, and festive live music with Bill Caballero. All proceeds from this event support our food justice mission in Southeastern San Diego. Join us in celebrating the legacy of activism for farm worker’s rights as we stand in solidarity for an equitable local food system.

Tickets only $20 and include all food and drinks, available now.
