OH! San Diego Event at Mt. Hope Community Garden

OH! San Diego Event at the Mt. Hope Community Garden

On Saturday, March 6, Open House San Diego (OH!) held an open house event at the Mt. Hope Community Garden as part of their spotlight on Southeastern San Diego. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for a day in the garden, and those who attended the event participated in various activities and familiarized themselves with the recently revamped layout and new structures.

OH! San Diego is a program run by San Diego Architectural Foundation (SDAF) that spotlights different neighborhoods throughout San Diego County by curating self-guided virtual and in-person tours to different locations that have been selected to offer a glimpse into each neighborhood’s history and culture, with a focus on how design both shapes and reflects each community.

We were proud to take part of this event as a representation of the Southeastern San Diego community, and would like to extend a huge thank you to all who attended and participated. A very special thanks goes out to District 9 Councilmember Sean Elo-Rivera and staff member Martha Zapata for joining us at the Mt. Hope Community Garden, and for their ongoing support.
