Working to Improve the SD Food System

PNV is in alignment with the SD Food System Alliance mission  to cultivate a healthy, sustainable, and just food system in San Diego County. As a community partner, PNV is serving in three capacities with the Alliance:

1. Coordination and co-creation engagement in /for southeastern San Diego in the 2030 visioning work.

2. Strategizing as a member of the equity, diversity, and inclusion to achieve internal and external goals.

3. Serve as a member of the leadership council.

The Alliance teams are just completing the research and community engagement phase of work for the 2030 visioning project. This effort reflects the true facts and feelings of diverse communities and sectors. We are excited about sharing the information collected, and urge you to take a look at the excellent job they have done in addressing creating a better food system throughout San Diego.
